The dry Pink Clay Mask is an excellent addition to your weekly skin care regime, this mineral rich exfoliator will remove dead skin cells and built-up surface impurities that might clog pores. 

Following application your skin will feel silky smooth and pores tighter.  You will be amazed to see the skin’s natural glow restored and how your skin will better absorb oils and creams.  With regular use, your skin should require less facial oil or moisturiser.         

Pink Clay is a gentler clay known to encourage circulation.  It refines the texture of the skin while toning the epidermis.  The gentle action of the clay does not damage the skin and leaves it feeling smooth and clear. The high iron oxide can assist in restoring a healthy glow.    

Suitable for all skin types especially sensitive and dull skin. 

APPLICATION

Apply to clean skin. In a small container, (do not use a metal spoon or bowl) blend 1-2 teaspoons of clay with ½-1 teaspoon of water or preferred medium and mix to a paste.  Ensure you don’t make the mixture too thick or too runny.  

Before applying, clean face and neck thoroughly and then open pores with a warm to hot face cloth. 

Using fingers, wood applicator, or brush, apply prepared mask evenly in a thin layer, avoiding the eyes and lips.  Leave a minimum of 5 minutes and maximum of 15 minutes.  

Gently remove with warm water. 

If you have mixed too much clay, cover the container and keep in fridge for next application.  Use within a week to ten days of mixing.

Suggested media for mixing with clay: oils, toners, floral waters, egg, avocado, yoghurt…just a few ideas.  Note that timing your facial is important if using a mix that does not dry out as quickly as water.

With some skin types the first few applications might result in minor skin eruptions or pinkness.  This is usually a result of the deep cleansing action of the clay drawing impurities to the surface and boosting circulation.  For some skin types, skin eruptions might occur in the days following application.  Follow with a hydrating toner, facial oil, and moisturiser.

WARNING:  Overuse of exfoliators can damage skin.  Recommended usage once or twice weekly. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Store in dry, cool place out of direct sunlight.
